Golf Match Schedule
Week Five- Final Week: Mon June 16th- Thursday June 19th
This week is the last week of the 2008 AYS Middle School Golf Season. Like last week,
we have had to modify the schedule from it is original format to assure that each school
gets the opportunity to play all of its matches. Be sure to check out the new schedule
below to make sure you know when your match is.
Monday June 16th: 2:30pm – West vs. Wood Hill
Wednesday June 18th: 2:30pm – Doherty vs. St. A’s
Thursday June 19th: 2:30 – 5pm - AYS Golf League Individual Tournament, BBQ and award ceremony.

- What did you gain from this program when you were in middle school?
“I learned a lot about competition, and how you deal with it. It made
me deal with pressure because I really wanted to beat my classmates.
The last thing it taught me was responsibility, and how to take care of
not only my golf equipment, but also the course.”
- What was your best score as a camper?
“I don’t remember, I think I got around a 30.”
- How was playing for the golf team this year?
“It was very exciting, and probably the most fun I ever had playing
golf. We had great team chemistry, and everybody got along great.”
