2008 Summer Sports Clinics


Get to the goal Lacrosse camp: A lacrosse clinic for girls entering grades 3 through 10. This clinic will be held in two sessions, a defensive session from June 30 to July 3 and a Day Camp session from July 21 through the 25th at the new turf field at AHS. Pick up the registration forms at the AYS office.


Lazer Lax Lacrosse Camp: A lacrosse clinic for boys in grades 1 through 8 from July 14th through 18th at the AHS turf field. Pick up the registration forms at the AYS office.


Summer Ultimate Frisbee Clinic: Aug 18-20 @ South School from 9-1 each day. This clinic is for boys and girls aged 11-16, beginner and intermediate players. Cost: $70 includes tshirt and a disc. Sign up through the AYS summer booklet, trip #77.


Stand Wrestling Clinic: August 19 and 20 @ Wood Hill Middle School from 9-1 each day. This clinic is for youth in grades 4-8. The cost is $60. Sign up through the AYS summer booklet, trip #76.


Field Hockey:

  • AYS clinic: July 28-31 @ AHS from 8:30-12:30 each day. This clinic is for girls entering 5th to 9th grades. You will need a mouthguard, shin guards, stick and water. The cost is &75. Sign up through the AYS summer booklet, trip #75.
  • UMass Lowell Field Hockey Clinic for grades 5 through 12.
  • UMass Lowell Thursday night Field Hockey league for grades 9-12.
  • Northeast Clinics Field Hockey Day and Overnight camp for grades 3-12.

Umpire Clinic: August 18-21 from 5:30-7:30pm each day. Location TBA. This is a clinic to teach the basics of umpiring for those interested in leaning more about being the ultimate leader on the field. The clinic will be led by Tom Clarke, former professional umpire who started umpiring for Andover Little League when he was 13. The cost is $55. Sign up through the AYS summer booklet, trip #79.
