The deadliest day of sledding... looks so innocent!
AYS's Newest Leadership Group
The mission of Pulse is to provide wicked awesome experiences for [hella fresh] girls.
Pulse is a place for Andover High School girls to make a difference in their community through identifying what they want to change and taking action to affect change. Through community service, Sunday night dinners and lots of adventures, the young women of Pulse are expressing themselves and breaking free from "Girl World."
Since Pulse started in the fall of 2008, the Pulse girls have attended the Massachusetts Conference for Women, taken a breakfast/sledding adventure, hosted topic dinners, taken a girl's instructional snowboarding trip, a shopping trip in Harvard Square, a trip to see Rocky Horror Picture Show and are working on local and global community service projects. The local mission is to advocate for AYS through this difficult budget time. The larger mission is supporting an orphanage for children who lost their parents to AIDS in Kenya.
